Few customers may have experienced the following error ‘We cannot allow you to access SendGrid because you appear to be located in an embargoed region’ when trying to send emails. Our engineers are implementing a fix and are monitoring system performance.

Investigating – Starting around 3 AM on 22nd November, 2024 our engineers began investigating an issue with clicking SSL click tracked links in emails wherein the recipients are receiving 500 Origin Error. The origin server is not reachable or returns an error.

The issue has only been observed so far for customers using KeyCDN for their SSL click tracking configuration.

Our team is actively working to identify the root cause and will provide updates within the next hour or as new information becomes available.

This issue affects customers who have enabled click tracking but have not configured link branding.

Investigating – Starting 6:43 AM PT (exact time will be determined soon), our engineers began investigating issues when accessing the account using credentials as username and password. When adding the right credentials, users receive an error of ‘Your username or password is invalid’.

This is only affecting password users, meaning that SSO users are not affected.

This does not affect mail send.

Customers seem to have success accessing the account by retrying again or using an incognito window. Our engineers are currently investigating the current behavior and will provide an update within an hour or as soon as they become available.

Customers may experience delays with Event reporting associated to mail send. The issue is causing intermittent errors and delays on Events (webhook, open and click events, Stats and Email Activity Feed events). This does not impact mail send. We are actively working to resolve the issue. We expect to provide another update in 30 minutes or as soon as more information becomes available.
